Congratulations to Mathieu Frenette, who has been hired by the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) as a Professeur. Mathieu completed his Ph.D. at the University of Ottawa with Tito Scaiano. He worked at a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University with Edward Solomon, McGill University with Gonzalo Cosa, and UMass Boston with Jonathan Rochford. Mathieu's research is in physical organic chemistry and applied spectroscopy.
