Professor James Gauld Appointed as Dean of Science at Memorial University

Congratulations to Professor James Gauld, who has been appointed as the Dean of Science at Memorial University. Dr. Gauld was born in Alice Springs, Australia and completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) in chemistry at the Northern Territory University. He then completed a Ph.D. in chemistry at the Australian National University under the supervision of Dr. Leo Radom. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Dalhousie University in the research group of Professor Russell Boyd before joining the faculty of University of Windsor and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. He previously served as Head of Chemistry and Dean of the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Windsor. Through his research, he has made extensive contributions in the area of computational chemistry and computational enzymology.
