Case Closed: Erin Johnson Hired by Dalhousie University

Dalhousie University has hired Professor Erin Johnson as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry. Professor Johnson is a theoretical chemist who works on the development of density functional theory and its application to materials. She completed her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Integrated Science (Mathematics and Chemistry) at Carleton University in 2004. She completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Queen's University in 2007 under the supervision of Axel Becke. She held an NSERC postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University with Weitao Yang. Since 2010, she has held a faculty position in the School of Natural Sciences at the University of California - Merced.
