Memorial University has hired Dr. Michael J. Katz as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry. Dr. Katz is an inorganic chemist, specializing in porous materials like Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs). Dr. Katz completed his B.Sc. and Ph.D. at Simon Fraser University under the supervision of Daniel Leznoff. He held an NSERC postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University with Joseph Hupp.
