The University of British Columbia has hired Jason Hein. Jason completed his B.S. and Ph.D. at the University of Manitoba with Philip G. Hultin. He then held an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Scripps Research Institute with Prof. K. Barry Sharpless and Prof. Valery V. Fokin. He worked as a senior research associate at Scripps with Prof. Donna Blackmond before joining the faculty at UC-Merced in 2011. Congratulations Jason!
