Cory Widdifield hired at the University of Regina

Congratulations to Dr. Cory M. Widdifield, who has been appointed as an Assistant Professor at the University of Regina. He holds a B.Ed. in chemistry and physics from the University of Windsor. He completed an M.Sc. in chemistry at the University of Windsor under the supervision or Rob Schurko and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Ottawa under the supervision of David Bryce.  He was an NSERC postdoctoral fellow at CRMN / ENS-Lyon with Lyndon Emsley. He was then a visiting scientific researcher at the University of Southampton with Graeme Day. He held another postdoctoral position with Paul Hodgkinson at Durham University. He was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Oakland University from 2017 to 2020. Cory's area of research is solid state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and has published 38 peer reviewed articles in the field.
