Trent University: 1-year full-time, limited-term appointment in biochemistry and organic chemistry

 Trent University invites applications for a 1-year full-time, limited-term appointment with teaching responsibilities and expertise in biochemistry and organic chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position is subject to budgetary approval. The position will start August 15, 2021. A PhD degree in chemistry or biochemistry is required and demonstrated teaching experience is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will teach six one-semester courses at the undergraduate level in the Chemistry Department. These courses may include, but are not limited to, Introductory Biochemistry at the second year level; third year Advanced Synthetic Organic; third year Enzymology and advanced topics at the fourth year level. Most teaching will take place in the Fall and Winter semesters, however, summer semester teaching may be required.
