Mount Allison University: Bioanalytical Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Mount Allison University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Bioanalytical Chemistry.  The appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor and will commence on July 1, 2018, subject to budgetary approval.

Applicants  must  possess  a  Ph.D.  and  have  a  strong  commitment  to  undergraduate teaching and research in the general area of bioanalytical chemistry. We particularly seek candidates with broad expertise, and those eager to contribute strong undergraduate teaching  in  core  Introductory  Analytical  Chemistry  and  Instrumental  Methods  of Analysis,  as  well  as  advanced  courses  in  bioanalytical  chemistry.  Candidates  must provide evidence of an ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary and student- centred environment. The successful candidate is expected to launch an active and externally funded research programme that integrates participation by undergraduate research students.   Faculty have access to a range of internal and external funding opportunities. Mount Allison University: One-year term appointment in Biochemistry

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Mount Allison University invites applications for a one-year term appointment in Biochemistry at the rank of Assistant Professor. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. The successful candidate will teach four undergraduate courses including Molecular Immunology (BIOC 3051), and likely three from Lipid and Membrane Biochemistry, Advanced Metabolism, Current Advances in Biochemistry and a topic in the candidate’s area of expertise, not already offered. Contributions to research and service are expected over the one-year term. The successful candidate will have access to university research facilities.
