Congratulations to Dr. Eva Hemmer who has been hired as an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Hemmer completed her PhD in material science at Saarland University. She worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the area of biomaterials at Tokyo University of Science. She then held a postdoctoral fellowship at INRS-EMT and the Université du Québec.
Her research will be in the areas of bioimaging, nanoparticles, and optical materials.
