McGill University: Materials/Nanochemistry

Applications are invited for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Materials/Nanochemistry. The Department seeks candidates who are committed to creating a vigorous, competitive and independent research program in any area of inquiry related to advanced materials and/or nanoscience. The successful candidates will be expected to develop an independent research program that would complement existing strengths in Advanced Materials within the Department of Chemistry.

All candidates must register on-line and electronically submit here their application package consisting of a curriculum vitae, one or two research proposals that targets interdisciplinary efforts in Materials/Nanochemistry, a startup budget, and a statement of teaching experience and interests. As part of the registration process, candidates will be prompted for contact information for at least three referees who can write letters of recommendation on their behalf.

Review of applications will begin immediately. The expected start date is August 1, 2017. Salary will be negotiable, according to qualifications and experience.
