Thompson Rivers University: Physical Sciences - Term Assistant Teaching Professor (Organic Chemistry)

The Department of Physical Sciences at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) invites applications for a 1-year Limited Term faculty position in Chemistry to commence Aug 1, 2020. TRU offers B.Sc. degrees with Canadian Society for Chemistry accredited Majors in Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry. TRU also offers an interdisciplinary Major in Chemical Biology. Successful candidates may teach a selection of first-year general chemistry courses and laboratories and/or second year organic chemistry laboratories. Successful candidates may also be responsible for Laboratory Coordination, Undergraduate and Graduate Teaching Assistant supervision for first-year general Chemistry laboratories, as well as first-year Chemistry summer courses. Applicants should have a commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate chemistry including familiarity with online teaching of lectures and blended delivery of labs.
