Job Description:
Thompson Rivers University is looking for a one-year contract faculty member to teach a section of CHEM 1520 (Principles of Chemistry) as well as a selection of first year chemistry labs and second year organic chemistry labs. The position will have the successful candidate teaching three sections each of organic and first year chemistry labs in the Fall 2022 term and one lecture section of CHEM 1520 plus three sections of organic labs in the Winter 2023 term.

QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD in relevant field or near completion.
• Experience teaching first year chemistry is an asset.
• Candidates should provide a cover letter, a recent CV, and a statement of their teaching philosophy with their applications.
• Non-Canadian applicants are asked to provide proof of employment eligibility in their application.
