Lakehead University - Orillia and Georgian College – Barrie campuses: Limited Term Teaching Appointment. First year, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at Lakehead University invites applications for a nine-month Limited Term Appointment. We are looking for a candidate with the ability to teach for the Applied Life Sciences programs at both the Lakehead University - Orillia and Georgian College – Barrie campuses in the areas of Freshman (University) Chemistry, Organic Chemistry (2nd year), and Biochemistry (3rd/4th year). The position will commence on August 15, 2021 at a rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level with an excellent teaching record. Preferred candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline from a university recognized by Universities Canada. Experience with experiential learning and online or alternative modes of course delivery is highly desired.
