The Department of Chemistry at The University of Winnipeg invites applications for a one-year term appointment at the rank of Instructor in the area of biochemistry or organic chemistry. Subject to budgetary approval, this position will commence August 1, 2024. Salary levels will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, and in accordance with the University of Winnipeg Faculty Association Collective Agreement.
Applicants must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree with expertise in either biochemistry or organic chemistry at the time of appointment. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality classroom and laboratory teaching. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and coordinating a combination of second to fourth-year organic and/or biochemistry laboratories, with an opportunity to teach first-year chemistry lectures. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in Departmental and University service.
