McGill University: Polymer Chemistry

Applications are invited for a tenure track Assistant Professor position. The Department seeks candidates who are committed to creating a vigorous research program in any area of inquiry related to Polymer Chemistry, in line with McGill University’s strategic commitment in Advanced Materials and Sustainability, which has resulted in the recent completion of more than $30M of dedicated research infrastructure in the Department. We are particularly interested in research programs oriented towards Sustainable Materials, but we will consider candidates with a wide range of interdisciplinary training experience.

Candidates should have a PhD degree with postdoctoral experience, proven research ability and a strong commitment to service and teaching in Chemistry. Applications from senior candidates may be considered. Successful candidates will be expected to work well in a multi-disciplinary collaborative research environment and develop a research program and expertise that complements existing strengths within the Department of Chemistry.
