Carleton University: Chemical Toxicology

About the Position:
The Chemistry Department invites applications from qualified candidates for a tenure-track appointment in Chemical Toxicology at the rank of assistant professor beginning July 1, 2020.

About the Academic Unit:
The Chemistry Department offers several programs in chemistry as well as a novel program in food science. We have outstanding researchers in many fields with excellent and improving infrastructure, space and equipment facilities. http://carleton.ca/chemistry/

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. and demonstrate outstanding potential for independent research through an excellent track record of high quality research. The capacity to attract and mentor graduate students and be an outstanding teacher is essential. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills and be willing to contribute to the teaching of undergraduate courses and the Department’s graduate program in Chemical and Environmental Toxicology.
