Posting details
The Chemistry Department invites applications for a sessional instructor to teach one (1) third year physical chemistry course in the Winter 2020 semester, and possibly one or more sections of first year general chemistry. The specific courses include CHEM 324 (Chemical Kinetics and Thermodynamics), and possibly CHEM 113 (General Chemistry I) or CHEM 114 (General Chemistry II).
Qualifications
The successful applicant must have a PhD from a recognized/accredited post-secondary institution in chemistry or a closely related field. Applicants should have an outstanding ability to teach and communicate with undergraduate students, and must be able to instruct a diverse student population (with varying backgrounds). Applicants need not have previous teaching experience but must demonstrate their ability to teach the indicated courses to a high degree of excellence.
